Sponsor a Survivor
Our job training program, designed for women who are in the early days of their healing and recovery journey, involves 8 hours a week of community time, job training activities, jewelry making and order fulfillment. We provide a safe landing place for a survivor to regain confidence in herself and start building her economic freedom, all while leaving her enough time to focus on the essential heart work, counseling, and healing of recovery.
Survivors in our job training program are offered two 4-hour shifts in the week for a total of 32 hours of employment per month. As a survivor sponsor, you are helping to provide one day of employment per month. This empowerment is vital to her healing process and your aid makes a world of difference.
Returning to the workforce while healing from the wounds of trafficking, violence, and addiction can be daunting and difficult. Our Sanctuary Project team of survivor-leaders knows first hand because we’ve all been there. The heart of our mission is to create a space where survivors can come and work, confident they’ll be surrounded by a community that understands.
