Over fifty times last year we got the call: at noon, at two in the morning, it doesn't matter. Someone needed help.
We were there to respond. Every time.
Imagine the relief you would feel when we were able to tell you your mother or father suffering from dementia was found alive after two days outside. It's priceless.
But we can't do it alone - training, equipment and supplies cost significant amounts of money. The costs of equipping a single searcher with essential personal protective equipment is in excess of $1,500.
Training Daisy (below) to become a certified search dog was hundreds of hours per year and thousands of dollars. To keep Daisy validated takes thousands more (and no, that isn't all just dog treats)
