Goal

Sol of the Cities: Rapid Relief Fund

Meeting the Gap. Keeping Families Together.

Increased immigration enforcement actions across the Twin Cities and surrounding areas have left many of our neighbors in crisis. When parents are forced to miss work, and children are unable to attend school, the stability of an entire household can vanish overnight.

At Sol of the Cities, we believe no family should face hunger or lack of shelter due to sudden systemic disruptions. We launched the Rapid Relief Fund to provide a bridge of support when traditional systems fall short.

Update: Phase 1 Fully Funded!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we successfully raised $25,000 in Phase 1, providing immediate essentials and housing stabilization to dozens of families. We are now moving into Phase 2, with a goal of an additional $25,000 to meet the sustained, growing need for housing and income preservation.

The Impact of Your Gift

Your donation provides direct, high-impact support where it is needed most. We focus on "Bridge Support"—the critical gap that prevents a crisis from becoming a catastrophe.

  • Housing Stabilization: Emergency rent and utility assistance to prevent displacement.

  • Income Preservation: Support for workforce readiness, such as mandatory licensing fees or equipment, helping parents return to work.

  • Daily Essentials: Access to groceries, household supplies, and school-related needs.

  • Safe Logistics: 15–20% of funds support the essential delivery and coordination required to vet needs and distribute aid safely through our trusted community network.

Why Our Model Works

We don't wait for families to find us. Through our deep-rooted partnerships with schools, coaches, and community leaders, we identify crises in real-time. Because we operate through a relationship-based referral system, we can provide aid with the speed and trust that larger, more bureaucratic programs cannot match.
