Sofya for SVUSD School Board 2024, District C

My name is Sofya Bagdasaryan, SVUSD Trustee for Area C. I'm running for re-election and appreciate your support.

As you can imagine, it is costly and time consuming to run a campaign. With your support, we can make an investment into your children and their education. We can print signs, postcards, and campaign literature to spread the word about our vision for Simi schools. 

A little about me:

I am a professor of social work at Cal State Los Angeles and a researcher, with 20 years of experience in public education (not counting as a student!). 

When it comes to the challenges faced by the district, my education and experiences have enabled me to ask key questions and engage in research toward feasible solutions. I bring a different perspective and objectivity to this position. If re-elected, I will continue to work to ensure that all our students have a safe environment within which to learn, grow, and prepare for college/careers.
