Goal

When SNAP falls short, neighbors turn to us.
On November 1, hundreds of thousands of Philadelphians—from our oldest to our youngest—lost a critical part of their food budget. That same weekend, our Hunting Park Market registered 50 new families, pushing demand up 50% in that market in just one week.

To meet this surge with dignity and speed, Small Things is launching the SNAP Response Fund. We’re raising $109,000 immediately to re-stock our warehouse with fresh produce and pantry staples and to add open hours where the need is greatest.

Your gift powers a simple chain of impact:
Money → Food purchases → More open hours → Neighbors served.

With your support, we will:

  • Keep shelves full with fresh produce and healthy staples

  • Open markets an extra day in high-demand neighborhoods

  • Replenish our warehouse faster so no one is turned away

We’ve already taken action in Hunting Park. Next up: Center City and Fairhill. Every donation—of any size—helps us meet this moment for families, kids, and seniors.

Please give today to close the SNAP gap for your neighbors.
