The Sahuarita Mustang Marching Band (SMMB) is the marching band and color guard ensemble for Sahuarita High School, located in Sahuarita, Arizona.

Under the direction of Mr. Benjamin Garland, the SMMB has been invited to represent the State of Arizona at the Salute to Independence Parade in Philadelphia, PA in July 2026.

Minority students comprise sixty percent of this diverse group, and 24% of the SMMB are from low-income families (below the federal poverty line).

The cost to attend this once-in-a-lifetime event is considerable. We are seeking donations to help offset the total cost for students, staff, as well all the logistical expenses that come with sending the SMMB with their uniforms and instruments across the country.

We are so excited for this upcoming experience, and are grateful for the support shown to our small-town marching band! Thank you!
