Goal

The SmARTech Build & Engineering Program empowers underrepresented youth by providing mentorship and hands-on learning in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) fields. Through this program, youth engage in projects like 3D printing, fabrication, and design, fostering innovation and critical thinking. As support for our Sliders Flat Track Racing Program, SmARTech participants mentor the young racers in understanding both the mechanics and engineering behind motorsports. They learn bike maintenance, aerodynamics, and performance analysis while building real-world skills that prepare them for careers in STEM fields.

SmARTech integrates creativity with technical skills, encouraging them to solve problems and innovate. The collaboration with Sliders provides a platform for students to explore real-time applications in motorsports, from designing custom bike parts to optimizing bike performance on the track. This holistic approach prepares youth for future careers in motorsports, engineering, and technology.

Both programs promote resilience, teamwork, and leadership while developing young mentors and helping them to pursue new career pathways. By combining education with practical experience, SmARTech and Sliders offer a transformative opportunity for youth to thrive in high-demand industries, build confidence, and pursue their passions. Through these programs, we are cultivating the next generation of innovators and leaders.
