St. Michael's Home Haircut Challenge
Welcome to St. Michael Academy's
HOME HAIRCUT CHALLENGE
DONATIONS received here will be passed on to
Northern Michigan Food Pantries to help support their heroic
efforts during Michigan's economic shut-down
Inspired by a very bold and unexpected move
by Dr. Brake, SMA's Headmaster, to
"TRIM" HIS OWN HAIR,
SMA students are hoping to encourage donations
to Northern Michigan food pantries with this
Home Haircut Challenge!
(Think of it as a COVID-19 Ice Bucket Challenge)
Watch Dr. Brake's shearing in the 56-second video below,
then JOIN THE CHALLENGE!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

- Scissors or Electric Hair Shaver are Recommended
- "Box" Home Hair-coloring also qualifies for the challenge!
- TIP: Check out a few of those "How to cut hair at home" videos on YouTube
2. Be alert, BE CAREFUL, and begin!
- Cut your hair yourself OR

- Again, BE CAREFUL!
3. Make your donation & post BEFORE & AFTER pictures on social media:

- Challenge your friends and family to do the same and share this link
- TIP: Call ahead to your barber/stylist and schedule a future visit - just in case.
Most importantly: BE CAREFUL!
HOW TO DONATE:
- Make your online donation here, to the local food pantry of your choice.
- OR, send a check directly to your favorite pantry. Please write, "Home Haircut Challenge" in the memo, so we can track how many donations are made.
