SLOW IS PRO
At Slow Is Pro, we believe in three core principles:
I. By promoting a culture of caution and mindfulness on the water, we can prevent accidents before they happen. When communities embrace the idea that “Slow is Pro,” lives are protected.
II. When emergencies do happen, every second counts. We believe in equipping boaters, crew and supporting response teams with the tools needed to respond quickly and effectively.
III. The future depends on training the next generation. We are committed to supporting and shaping aspiring mariners into responsible, respected captains and crew — through the Stephen L Cross Jr. Scholarship.
We’re more than a safety campaign — we’re a movement working to transform the culture of boating through education, readiness and leadership. Our mission is to empower individuals and communities to navigate the water with confidence, care and shared responsibility.

We didn’t have the privilege of meeting Stephen. We wish we would have! What an amazing person and legacy! We have enjoyed the VI and BVI over the last several years with our daughter Sara. We want to support this great cause. Tim & Jane
