Military Sleeping Bags for Ukraine

The 2024 fundraiser: 400 military sleeping bags

Winters in Ukraine are harsh, especially for soldiers serving in trenches and exposed positions along the front lines. Military sleeping bags provide essential protection against the cold.

In 2024, I launched a fundraiser to purchase 400 second-hand military sleeping bags from the French army. These high-quality, durable sleeping bags were available at a very favourable price and helped provide much-needed warmth to Ukrainian military personnel.

Thanks to the generosity of 172 donors, we raised a total of €6,021 to cover the purchase and transportation of the sleeping bags to Ukraine.

Organising transportation was a major challenge, but with the help of volunteers and Heart4Ukraine, the sleeping bags were transported from France to Ukraine in December 2024. They were subsequently distributed to multiple Ukrainian military units serving along the front lines.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this fundraiser a success! Your support helped get essential equipment to the defenders of Ukraine.

A message of thanks from the front 🇺🇦

These are just some of the many messages of thanks we received from Ukrainian defenders who benefited from the sleeping bag fundraiser.

Every sleeping bag delivered to the front makes a difference. Behind every donation are people who care — and behind every thank-you is a defender who knows they haven't been forgotten.

Thank you for helping us stand with Ukraine. Let's do it again! 💙💛
