Skip a Coffee, Save a Life

Dear Sky Sanctuary Family,

Today, we are launching a crucial campaign, "Skip a Coffee, Save a Life," and we need your help more than ever. We're asking our community to make a small but impactful choice: skip a coffee and donate at least $5 to Sky Sanctuary. In return, you’ll be entered for a chance to win free Starbucks for a year (via a $2000 gift card) or $1000 in cash.

This campaign isn’t just a fundraising effort—it's a lifeline. The rescue is in an incredibly vulnerable place right now. We urgently need to raise funds to cover over $11,000 in surgical expenses this week alone and secure the critical funding necessary to keep our sanctuary in operation. Summer month donations are notoriously low + admittedly, we have enough resources to continue our work only through the end of the month, and the way we are operating on a month-to-month basis is simply not sustainable. We want to keep fighting for these animals for the long run, but we need your support to do it.

The funds raised through "Skip a Coffee, Save a Life" will go directly toward life-saving surgeries for dogs like Moose, Sage, Leroy, Barbie, and Skipper. But it doesn’t stop there—this support will also help us dig out of the financial hole we’re in and literally keep our doors open.

For those who want to make an even bigger impact, any donor who commits to a recurring $5 weekly donation will be entered accordingly—52 entries in total.

The winner of the Starbucks or cash prize will be selected on August 28, 2024, by 12:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. Every dollar counts, and your support could be the difference between life and death for the animals in our care.
