Simply Equine Assisted Therapy Arena Fundraiser

S.E.A.T. has been in existence since 2002 and its impact on the Kansas City community is positive, far reaching, and life changing. S.E.A.T. believes that everyone deserves a chance to learn who they are through Equine Therapy, and no one is turned away. Our clients include adolescents and adults who are victims of domestic abuse, PTSD, behavioral disorders, depression, bi-polar disorder, ADHD/ADD, Autism, Foster Care children and adolescents of the youth court system and adults with Alzheimer’s.

We are currently seeking to raise funds in the amount of $150,000 to build an enclosed arena so that our clients are able to continue therapy during the winter months. Our clients see the best success when their equine therapy sessions are consistent, and uninterrupted by weather. Building this enclosed arena would offer that consistency our clients so deeply depend on. Mental health issues are NOT weather dependent. It is vital we are able to continue our work in rain or shine.
