Shout a Coffee for COPE in PNDA Week 2020
Support Parents Struggling to COPE In PNDA Week 2020
2020 has been such a difficult year for so many hopeful, expectant and new parents.
They have faced changes and disruptions to IVF services, limited face-to-face antenatal care and less contact with family, friends and health professionals after welcoming their babies.
It's been stressful, frustrating and exhausting for so many families during what is already an incredibly vulnerable time of life. Amid the coronavirus pandemic, rates of perinatal anxiety and depression are soaring, screening rates decreasing and demand for our support is greater than ever.
That's why this Perinatal Depression and Anxiety (PNDA) week beginning November 8, we're asking you to Shout a Coffee for COPE.
Donate the cost of your morning coffee or host an event, and shout out/tag that special someone who may be finding it hard to cope this year.
This year your donation matters more than ever.
Every cup helps us to make a difference.

Thank you for doing what you do. I never accessed your services, though I probably should have, as I did struggle with PNDA following the birth of my daughter (currently 17mo). I did eventually seek support, and now I am so passionate about spreading the word and doing more in this space. Keep it up, COPE!

I have used COPE for further perinatal mental health assessment training as a clinician in community mental health and as a new father I have enjoyed the weekly Ready to Cope emails each week. Thanks so much

COPE helped me during my antenatal anxiety and depression with reminders that I wasn’t alone. Wherever you are, there are other parents with you in spirit, even in those dark wee hours <3

Thank you so much for all the support. You do some really brilliant and uplifting work for all ‘mum’ experiences, and were truly integral in supporting me through my extremely difficult pregnancy, especially the first trimester. I now have a happy baby boy who is turning ONE this weekend and I couldn’t have made it without your support. I wish I could give more, because your support is priceless.

Thank you, COPE, your resources have been most helpful to me during pregnancy and post partum, especially this year when services have been compromised due to the pandemic. Keep up the terrific work.
