Be an Ambassador of Hope for Cancer Warriors & Their Families - Donate to Short Folks For Hope Foundation

Short Folks For Hope Foundation is a 501(c)(3) cancer support charity founded by breast cancer survivor Kristen Short. Kristen is a singer/songwriter, wife to Chris and mother of three. Through Kristen's cancer journey, which began July 15, 2010, she has met many courageous cancer warriors and kind caregivers and supporters who inspire her and give her hope. Kristen desires to help others impacted by cancer and to inspire youth to be involved in charitable efforts, and she founded Short Folks For Hope Foundation September 6, 2012.

Short Folks For Hope Foundation's mission is to empower, encourage and celebrate cancer warriors, and to inspire and provide opportunities for youth to be creative, compassionate members of our communities. We are located at 4 Western Avenue in South Paris, Maine, and we work to foster hope for cancer warriors and their families from pediatrics through geriatrics, in Maine and throughout the country.

Donations to Short Folks For Hope Foundation enable us to:

* empower, encourage and celebrate cancer warriors with our special events and projects;
* provide Hope Bear Encouragement Packs and Angel Bear Bereavement Packs to cancer warriors and their families;
* creatively fulfill small wishes for cancer warriors;
* make visits to cancer warriors at respite camps, homes and events with our special characters (Furry Ambassadors/mascots, superheroes and princess characters);
* sing for hospice patients; and
* inspire and provide opportunities for youth to be creative, compassionate members of our communities.
