Camryn Hampton, 2018 Voice Classical

Each year, $21,600 supports 2 student scholarships and 1 teacher stipend in each of the 9 artistic categories—and every dollar is doubled with our year-end $5,000 matching grant! You are empowering students and teachers by supporting Shooting Stars.

Because of you, Shooting Stars provides life changing creative experiences for high school seniors and also empowers them to follow their dreams by providing much needed help with college tuition.

Please consider helping make more student’s dreams come true by making a gift to this year’s Shooting Stars.

With your help, Shooting Stars annually recognizes 100 students from more than 20 different high schools in Johnson County. We highlight their excellence in arts and creativity. And we award 18 scholarships, provide 9 teacher honorariums, and work with around 30 local artists who serve as advisors, mentors, and judges!

As a Shooting Stars supporter, you understand the importance of arts education and creating a supportive environment that encourages young artists.  Your gift today will go immediately to work supporting:

  • Portfolio and audition prep workshop for all Shooting Stars students
  • Professional museum exhibition experience for visual artists
  • Connection to financial education, career development, community and volunteer opportunities and other scholarship resources
  • College scholarships & teacher awards

Thank you for making such an important difference for students. Your support, no matter the size, is so much more impactful than you could ever imagine.
