Shooting Stars Recognition & Scholarship Program

"The program is so wonderful and gives so many great opportunities to students whose passion lies within the arts. I’m so grateful that I got to be a part of this program and was given a scholarship." - Madeline Friesen, Voice 2020

Your gift to the Shooting Stars Program inspires, builds student confidence and supports life changing creative experiences. As students navigate this school year we know their passion for the arts will play an important role; keeping them connected, career-ready and helping them manage unexpected challenges.  We hope you will join us in supporting this year’s class of Shooting Stars.

By investing in the Shooting Stars Program you can be an arts champion for high school artists. With your gift, Shooting Stars scholarships support college tuition costs and help alleviate stress allowing students to focus on their studies, performances and portfolios.

Shooting Stars recognizes Johnson County high school senior students for their excellence in the performing, literary, and visual arts with college scholarships.  More than that, the Shooting Stars Program is an opportunity to make dreams come true.  Please join us in supporting the dreams of this year’s class of high school seniors by making a monthly or one time gift to the Shooting Stars program today.

You may be able to receive a new tax deduction of $300 ($600 for a married couple) as part of the CARES Act. Please be sure to consult with your tax advisor.
