Unfortunately, shipping to Haiti isn’t as simple as dropping a box at the UPS store and getting a tracking number. It’s a complex, costly, and time-consuming process that requires patience and coordination.
All supplies, donations, and gifts for the children are first packed and organized at one of our team member’s homes in Florida. Once we have a full load of boxes ready to go, our trusted shipper is contacted for pickup. From there, the waiting begins—sometimes it takes just a few weeks, other times several months—depending on current security conditions, customs clearance, and transportation challenges within Haiti.
When the shipment finally arrives in Haiti, our team coordinates local transport up the mountain to Emmanuel Children’s Center. Once the boxes reach Emmanuel safely, we receive notification, and that’s when the children finally get to open and enjoy the items you’ve sent with so much love.
Your donation plays an important part in this process—it helps cover the high shipping costs and supports the bulk transportation of essential supplies for all the children. Every contribution ensures that your gifts and the resources they depend on make it safely into their hands. 💛
