Shila’s “First Mile” Charity Run: Together We Rebuild

Join local runner Shila Hawk, Fleet Feet Decatur, and Pure Barre Decatur for a special one-mile community run celebrating strength, recovery, and giving back!

After six months of recovery from major surgery, Shila is marking her return to running by turning her personal milestone into an opportunity to help the Furniture Bank rebuild after the devastating fire that destroyed its warehouse in June 2025.

Proceeds from this event will support the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta, a nonprofit that brings stability to individuals and families in need by providing essential furniture to turn their empty houses into fully furnished homes.

Together, we’re celebrating resilience and fueling a comeback story for both Shila and the Furniture Bank!
