Goal
Shifa Campaign 4
In Syria, many patients continue to wait for specialized medical care because of limited access to essential medical supplies, surgical services, and financial support.
For a patient in need of surgery, waiting is not only painful — it can be life-threatening.
The Shifa Campaign 4, launched by the Shifa Med medical team in cooperation with MedGlobal Syria and with logistical support from Deutsch-Orientalisches Ärzteforum e.V., aims to provide free medical treatments and surgical interventions for patients in Syria.
The campaign will take place from 5 July to 28 August 2026 .
This year, Shifa 4 is expanding in both duration and geographic coverage, reaching more than one governorate and supporting a wider range of specialized surgical missions.
The campaign is implemented under the patronage of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Syria. The campaign strives to provide critical care to patients in need, including:
- Specialized surgical interventions.
- Free medical treatment.
- Support for vulnerable patients who cannot afford care.
- Reduction of long waiting lists.
- Improved access to lifesaving healthcare services.
One Surgery Provided – Many More Still Waiting
- For many patients, timely medical care can mean the difference between continued suffering and a second chance at life.
- A child may need urgent surgical care to survive.
- A parent may be waiting for an intervention that allows them to return home to their family.
- A patient living with pain may finally have the chance to recover.
Through Shifa 4, each medical intervention represents more than a procedure. It represents hope, dignity, and the possibility of a healthier future.
Why This Matters Right Now?
Many patients in Syria are unable to access specialized care because of financial barriers and shortages in essential medical supplies.
Without support, patients may continue waiting for weeks or months, while their conditions worsen.
The estimated cost of essential medical supplies needed for the campaign is approximately $100,000.
Your donation will directly support free medical treatments and surgical interventions for patients who urgently need care.
Give now. Patients in Syria cannot wait.
