Goal

Thank you for contributing to the Organizers Get It Done fundraiser for Shelley Jackson who is running as write in candidate for Roosevelt School District. Shelley Jackson currently serves as the Deputy Director of Training and Engagement at Instituto, an organization with a mission of building sustained political power for low income and Black, Indigenous, and communities of color in Arizona. Previously, Shelley has organized and trained individuals on both the local and national level with Organizing Corps 2020 training field organizers for the 2020 presidential election and Arizona Coalition for Change & Our Voice, Our Vote AZ leading their youth, community development and training programs. During her time with AZC4C and OVOV she worked with coalitions across the state on many different issues including voting rights, the expansion of public transportation, and equitable education. Before Shelley committed to advancing her community through organizing she worked with a local nonprofit to train teachers all over the valley on social and emotional learning while also leading after school programs and teaching dance in various schools. Whether organizing on the ground, or teaching in the classroom Shelley has a proven track record of always putting community and those who are directly impacted first. As a South Phoenix native, and former Roosevelt School District student Shelley is bringing her passion for the community she knows and loves to the school board.

As organizers we get the job done, which is why we are asking you to support the campaign and donate. Early voting is right around the corner and we need to make sure South Phoenix residents are aware of all of their choices this cycle including Shelley Jackson who is running as a write in candidate. Thank you so much for donating and investing in Roosevelt’s future.
