SheepOver in the BTW camping pod!

We are now closed for Sheepovers until spring 2024

But you can buy a voucher now and book your dates later on in the spring when we start taking bookings again.

Due to weather and general sanctuary maintenance work sheepovers probably won't start until mid May.

You can enjoy stunning views over the Teifi Valley and the Cambrian mountains beyond whilst watching over some of our resident sheep.

With your own private outdoor vegan only camping kitchen, dining and bathroom facilities you can relax in the beautiful rural surroundings.

The pod is fitted with one double bed, supplied with bedding and one single pullout camping bed.

You can join us in helping to feed the animals or simply enjoy a tour of the sanctuary.

We are only thirty minutes from the West Wales coast or just a short drive to reach the vast and breathtaking Cambrian mountains.

Please be aware that there are steep steps going up to the pod, sadly we do not have a disabled access at the moment.

Please email sheepover@beneaththewood.co.uk to book in your dates before payment and wait for confirmation that those dates are free before sending your payment.

The pod is not suitable for children under 12 and no dogs are allowed. Maximum 2 adults one child. Children must be supervised at all times.

The kitchen is fully equiped with plates, cutlery and pans. Bedding is also supplied.

But please bring towels and anything else you may need.

Evening temperatures can be chilly so bring a few warm items of clothing.

Wellies and waterproofs are always recommended in case it rains.

Only Vegan food is permitted on site.

No dogs allowed

You cannot park next to the pod and will need to carry your items up some steps and across a field. But there will be people around to help you carry your items. The carpark is situated up a short track.

Our sheep are in the same field as the pod. So please make sure all gates are closed behind you and food items are kept away.

Please do not feed any of the residents.

All money from camping bookings go towards the running costs of the sanctuary.

Thank you, have a fantastic sheep over!
