Shears of Strength

At The Factory, we’ve always believed in the strength and resilience of our community, not just within our salon, but across the entire hair industry. Today, we’re reaching out with a heartfelt request for support that is very close to our hearts.

Recently, Hurricane Helen hit Asheville, North Carolina, a city 2,000 feet above sea level—an area unprepared for the magnitude of destruction the hurricane would bring. The devastation it left behind is unimaginable. Many hairstylists have been displaced, and several salons are now facing the daunting task of rebuilding from the bottom up.

We’ve been in contact with salons in Asheville and have been doing everything we can to support our fellow stylists. Our salon will be donating our a portion of our gratuity this week, along with additional supplies, to help them get back to work as quickly as possible. However, we are hoping to make an even larger impact with the support of our incredible community. In the past, you’ve been so generous, and we are turning to you once again in this time of need.

Even a donation of five dollars can go a long way in helping these stylists and their families recover and rebuild their businesses. One of our core values at The Factory is community—we believe in standing together, lifting each other up in times of difficulty.
