Shaun's Recovery Fundraiser

We met Shaun at freedom groups in Cape Town city centre as a very angry and proud man. He's been using substances for 20 years, in and out of shelters but mostly living on the street. 

Shaun has a 13 year old daughter that he want's to be there for and is motivated to get clean and take responsibility for his life. 

It's his dream to use his story and his voice to inspire people as a motivational speaker. 

Shaun is invested in his rehabilitation journey and  will be financially paying what he can towards it, from a disability fund he has. 

The funds we are raising here will cover the next 12 month of Shaun journey to recovery. 

For just over £100 a month!!

This will include:

1. RECOVER

- Meetings with a social worker and doctor. 

- 6 months of in-patient rehabilitation. 

- All travel & food costs.

2. REBUILD

- 3 months in the Quiver building.

- 3 months of out-patent rehabilitation.

- Mentorship into finding work or starting a business.

- Support to rebuild family relationships.

3. REINTEGRATE

- 3 additional months in the Quiver Building.

- Support in finding independent accommodation. 

- Ongoing 1-2-1 mentorship and support groups.

We are able to cover such a comprehensive recovery journey because of two main factors.

1. We have our own building and can offer very low cost accommodation. 

2. We work with individuals and other charitable organisations who make their services available for low costs and some even for free. 

This means the money that you give is really making a big impact on Shaun's life!
