Why support the Seattle Housing and Resourcing Effort (SHARE)?

All SHARE efforts are self-managed and run by the homeless members themselves. SHARE is not a social service organization but rather a self-help group. They practice self-management because it acknowledges and promotes the innate dignity of each member.  All major decisions are made at organized meetings where members are encouraged to attend, participate, and vote.
