Hello everyone ❤
I would like to ask you, my dear friends and supporters, to stand with us as we start constructing the grand Sezar Hospital.
As you all know, I, Hosein Mohamadi, have for the past five years dedicated my life to professionally rescuing and taking care of the dogs of the province of Gilan, Iran, where I live.
At first, I had nowhere to take care of the dogs I rescued. I quickly realized that in order to carry on with this work, I need to have both short and long term plans, to ensure that me spending all my time doing this will actually have a lasting impact. I decided to take steps in order to end cruelty towards animals by making videos to educate the public at large.
It took a year, but I was finally able to find and rent a place to take care of the growing number of the badly injured dogs we rescued. I gained a lot of valuable experience and within that same year was able to find a second location that served our growing needs better. We put our hearts and souls in that property, however soon after we were evicted because of neighbors' complaints to the city and our landlord.
I can not tell you how hard it was to have to find another suitable place, but I did and we moved to our third location. After countless hours of hard work, the new location was ready to meet our needs, but we were evicted yet again due to complaints.
I quickly realized that I needed a place of my own so that we don't waste precious resources that we have so little of on constantly moving. So I fought and fought our eviction for a year, till I was able to build my own sanctuary on my own land that had basically nothing on it. So we moved to our fourth location, where we are today!
We have now been here for 2 years, and it's time to take steps towards expanding. My goal was to have a big sanctuary where the sick, injured and elderly stray or abandoned dogs can live in peace or till such time that they are adopted by loving families. However, since day one we have been harassed and tormented by people who are fundamentally against animal rights and welfare. You read that right, it is not a mistake, there are people out there that are against what we are doing. But our biggest challenge to date has been global affairs and the sanctions that were put on Iran. Our ability to do our work has been greatly impacted and brought to a halt because of the sanctions.
I have put my plans of expanding the sanctuary on hold right now. However, we must proceed to build the hospital as there are many dogs that are needlessly suffering, also we need to continue to spay and neuter the stray dogs in order to reduce their population over time. Furthermore, if we are to find homes for these Angel's, we have to make sure they are in good health first.
We have begun the construction of a three-story building to treat and take care of all sick and injured rescues.
My dear friends, who have known me for a long time and those who have recently joined the Sezar family, we are all part of this community because we believe in our fundamental duty as human beings to help our fellow earthlings, who have lived and evolved alongside of us, on this planet we all call home. I know we all wish to see these magnificent, gentle, sentient beings live in peace free of fear, pain and suffering. There are many ways to be rescuers, this concept is not limited to physically picking up injured dogs, treating and nursing them back to health. You supporting people like me, empowering me to do what is needed is an act of rescue in itself.
Please make a donation to us as we continue the construction of this much-needed facility, in a country where these animals have no voice and very little advocates to be their voice. And believe that we will one day succeed in putting an end to all of this cruelty, injury, and injustice towards animals.
In Hope's of a world free of pain and suffering for all earthlings.
