October 27th, 2022 – Seven months after The Driven Ones connected with Dasha and commencing our unwavering support for her family as they defended Ukraine against Russian aggression, we received news that her husband, Sergey, was injured by a landmine. Sergey is currently at a military hospital being treated for multiple fragmented bones in his legs and feet, including a pin that was inserted into his heel/ankle,  as well as numerous shrapnel wounds. Currently, these injuries prevent him from walking or being sent home to recover.

Months ago, in one of our earlier updates, you may recall that Sergey led his men in a chant challenging Vladimir Putin's claim that Russia would defeat Ukraine in three days.

Since then, Sergey and his men, like countless other Ukrainians, have accomplished the extraordinary. We are proud to have supported them with individual first aid kits, boots, socks, body armor, gloves, energy drinks, food and many other supplies that helped keep them safe while in harm's way.

Now, The Driven Ones want to help get Sergey back on his feet and on his way to see his wife Dasha and their son Danya as soon as possible.  Our goal is to cover potential ongoing medical expenses the family may incur beyond what the Ukrainian government has the capacity to cover, childcare so Dasha can spend more time in the hospital with Sergey and meals for Danya, Dasha and of course Sergey because we all know how bad hospital food can be!

True to our roots, we are launching this fundraiser immediately, and will send all donations as they come in directly to Sergey's family.

Together, we can help support Sergey's family and provide resources to speed his recovery. Please donate today!
