🎁A Season of Hope: Blessing Quechua Children and Families

Empowering Quechuas has partnered with the Kind Hart Foundation to provide Christmas gifts and school supplies to the soccer players at their 11 soccer academies throughout Peru.

The Vision

This Christmas, you can bring joy, hope, and purpose to 500 Quechua children in the remote mountains and jungles of Peru. Through A Season of Hope, Empowering Quechuas will bless every child in our soccer academies with a Christmas gift, and we will host a Christmas celebration at each academy where the children will receive traditional Peruvian panetón, Christmas treats, and hot chocolate. 

Additionally, fifty of these children—the sons and daughters of the pastors and coaches Empowering Quechuas partners with who travel far to share the Gospel—will also receive school supplies to begin the new year with dignity and confidence (the school year starts in February in Peru).

The Need

For many of these children, Christmas passes quietly. Their parents work tirelessly but lack resources for Christmas gifts. Without help, these kids may miss the joy of celebration. When it comes to our soccer academies, often our dedicated ministry leaders bring the Gospel to others but are not able to provide school essentials for their kids. This means their own children miss out on having the tools they need to learn and thrive.
