Banning a peaceful demonstration is a dangerous precedent. Half a million Europeans signed this initiative, and they have the right to be heard in the capital of the EU, the same EU that lectures the world about democratic values. If the arguments behind this campaign are wrong, defeat them with better arguments, not with bans. Silencing citizens doesn't make their concerns disappear, it only proves that the political class refuses to listen. I stand with the right of every European to assemble and petition peacefully.
