2020 Scrumble Charity Golf Tournament
How would you like to start off 2020 a cool $25,000 richer? Well, you could! All you have to do is hit a golf ball 150 yards (130 yards if you're a female) into the hole for a Hole In One on the Par 3 3rd hole at the Los Verdes Golf Course on Friday, February 28 at the 13th Annual Scrumble Charity Golf Tournament. But you can't win if you don't register so sign up now.
The $25,000 Hole In One contest is just one of four Hole In One contests on the day, all sponsored by The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company. In addition, there'll be Closest to the Pin contests on two of those Par 3s and one Long Drive contest on each nine. And providing enough players sign up for this year's Scrumble, there'll also be a Hole In Two contest on the Par 5 16th hole, with a prize value of $5,000 to anyone who sinks the second shot after Professional Long Driver, Dan McIntosh, puts a drive some 400 yards off the tee. Don't think it can be done? Dan's longest drive in competition is 479 yards.
Los Verdes Golf Course is one of the most popular and heavily played courses in the entire country. Los Verdes GC is a beautiful, Billy Bell-designed course that offers the best ocean views in the entire state of California. With an open layout, the golf course provides a beautiful backdrop and makes play enjoyable for all levels of golfers. Multiple elevation changes over the 6,617 yards makes putting a real challenge, giving the course a slope rating of 121. The toughest hole on the course is the 441-yard par 4 fourth, which hugs the cliffs above the ocean. The newly renovated driving range has an improved grass landing area with five new target greens and two large putting greens - everything you need for an exceptional golf experience.
Play will begin with a 12:00 p.m. shotgun start. Register now to ensure your spot in the tournament.
The registration fee for the Scrumble is just $200 per player and includes:
