Scott Bowler has been a proud resident of Porterville since 1988, dedicated to the growth and safety of the city he calls home. As a Business Engagement Specialist at the Employment Connection since 2017, Scott has spent years helping his neighbors build their futures by connecting them with meaningful career opportunities. His leadership as the Board Chair for the Porterville Chamber of Commerce and his role on the city’s Charter Review Committee reflect his deep commitment to local business and effective governance.

Beyond his professional life, Scott is a true community advocate. Whether he’s founding social media platforms like Porterville Jobs to help locals find work, coaching youth sports, or organizing critical water drives during droughts, Scott is always the first to step up. His hands-on approach to service, from flood relief to search and rescue missions, earned him a nomination for Man of the Year in 2022. Scott isn't just a resident; he’s a neighbor who shows up when it matters most, and he's ready to bring that same dedication to the Porterville City Council.
