Support Our Community School Families!

Southeast CDC is the non-profit partner for five Community Schools in Southeast Baltimore:

- John Ruhrah Elementary/Middle in Greektown

- Highlandtown 237 Elementary/Middle

- Tench Tilghman Elementary/Middle in CARE

- William Paca Elementary in McElderry Park

- Highlandtown 215 Elementary/Middle

We staff each school with a full-time community school coordinator who provides resources to meet family's food, health, housing and academic needs.

The COVID-19 crisis has taken a great financial toll on these families--many of them immigrants who do not receive any unemployment benefits or monetary support from the federal stimulus.

It would greatly help our families to have donations to purchase grocery staples like meats, dairy, and fresh produce; toilet paper, paper towels, PPE, and cleaning/sanitizing products; personal hygiene products; and other emergency supplies. Many families need help with providing essential school supplies for their children, as well as coats and winter gear. We also want to be able to offer gift cards to help families who have experienced emergencies like a house fire or other family tragedy.

Southeast CDC will use 100% of the donations to help the highest need families who are identified by our staff and school staff.
