Support Our Community School Families!

Southeast CDC is the non-profit partner for four Community Schools in Southeast Baltimore:

- John Ruhrah Elementary/Middle in Greektown

- Highlandtown 237 Elementary/Middle

- Tench Tilghman Elementary/Middle in CARE

- William Paca Elementary in McElderry Park

We staff each school with a full-time community school coordinator who provides resources to meet family's food, health and academic needs.

The COVID-19 crisis has taken a great financial toll on these families--many of them immigrants who will not receive any monetary support from the federal stimulus.

While our schools receive some food from MD Food Bank, it is not enough--the need for food, household supplies and other emergency needs is so much greater now.

It would greatly help our families to have donations to purchase grocery staples like meats, dairy, and fresh produce; toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning/sanitizing products; personal hygiene products; and other emergency supplies.

Southeast CDC will use 100% of the donations to help the highest need families who are identified by our staff and school staff.
