Before the COVID-19 crisis, we knew that the transit system wasn’t working for us: riders faced long journeys, expensive tickets, and missed connections, leading to inaccessible jobs, rising congestion, pollution, and emissions, and deepening inequality. 

Now, as we all face this critical public health challenge, we are seeing even more clearly how our transit system is broken and needs urgent reform. Without a stable source of government funding, transit services are being cut, and agencies lack both the coordination and the capacity to adequately meet our community’s needs during this crisis. 

Help us continue to push elected officials regionally and statewide to support the sensible and desperately needed improvements to how we fund and organize our transit system, so that we can put riders first.
