Mothers face childbirth without consistent prenatal care. Newborns are vulnerable to malnutrition, untreated complications, and the long-term effects of trauma.

A woman’s chance of surviving pregnancy should never depend on where she lives.

This Ramadan, MedGlobal is prioritizing mothers and babies across Syria—ensuring lifesaving care before, during, and after birth so every child’s first breath is taken in safety, and every mother survives to hold her baby.

MedGlobal delivers critical maternal and newborn care through public hospitals, community clinics, and integrated recovery programs across Syria. Our work includes safe deliveries, emergency obstetric and newborn services, malnutrition screening and treatment, mental health and psychosocial support, and the training and equipping of midwives and healthcare professionals to rebuild sustainable maternity care.
