One Life Saved – Many More in Need
For a baby named Hassan, timely healthcare was the difference between life and loss.
Displaced with his family, Hassan grew weaker as food supplies disappeared. His small body could no longer cope with the lack of nutrition.
When his mother finally reached a MedGlobal-supported clinic, doctors diagnosed him with acute malnutrition.
With therapeutic nutrition, medical care, and close follow-up, Hassan slowly began to regain strength. His appetite returned. His energy came back.
Hassan’s story, tragically, is not unique – and malnutrition is just one of many medical concerns facing the mothers and babies of Gaza.
Why This Matters Right Now
On average, 250 beneficiaries receive health and nutrition services from the center each day, ensuring these vulnerable mothers and children have access to essential healthcare.
Without this program, many displaced and crisis-affected populations in Gaza will lose access to essential health services.
