Goal
Save Lives in Bangladesh This Ramadan
This Ramadan, more than one million Rohingya refugees remain displaced in Cox’s Bazar District, Bangladesh—the largest refugee settlement in the world. For pregnant women and newborns, access to safe, dignified healthcare can mean the difference between fear and survival.
One mother’s experience shows why this care matters. After facing rushed appointments and being told she had no choice but surgery, she lost trust in the healthcare system. In the final weeks of her pregnancy, she traveled 387 kilometers to the Somitipara Maternity and Birth Center, supported by MedGlobal. There, she was listened to, supported, and treated with dignity—and she safely delivered her baby naturally.
This is what your Ramadan giving makes possible.
MedGlobal Is Still There
