Save Childhood Movement
Collaboration - Awareness-raising - Championing Children
The Save Childhood Movement actively supports and informs people who are concerned about child and family wellbeing in the modern world and who want to ensure that every child can grow up happy, healthy and valued.
Since its 2013 launch, it has been increasingly active in the UK and beyond and has focused on a number of core projects, including the development of National Children's Day UK (NCDUK) as an example of how children's days worldwide could be used to significantly raise awareness about the pressures on modern childhood and to share all the great work that is currently going on to promote and protect the rights of the child. In 2020 it established The Children's Voice as a new engagement platform to support the active participation of children and young people.
The movement is a Not-for-Profit Company Ltd by Guarantee. Company Number 08058920. All staff members of the organisation currently give their time for free. The Flourish Project, that was originally conceived under the movement, is now a separate Community Interest Company that is currently under development - with aim of providing sustainable support for our not-for-profit activities.
All funds raised will go towards furthering the ongoing activities of the movement and its sister projects.
