Goal

Demetrius DuBose, an All-American and captain of the Notre Dame football team in the early ‘90’s, was a wildly popular member of the Notre Dame community and mentor to many of us who played with him.

This documentary will explore how a man of his caliber went from being the 34th pick of the 1993 NFL Draft to the man who was shot (12 times) by the San Diego Police.

Demetrius was a gregarious human being who affected the lives of many people, from his family, friends, teammates, coaches and teachers in Seattle, to members of the Notre Dame football community, student body and South Bend community.

We will tell his complete story using interviews, archival footage and voice-over narrative.
