Goal
When you have a loved one fighting cancer, especially one as aggressive and mean as sarcoma, you can feel so helpless. You care for them, keep up with meds and food and anything else you can provide, and you do your best to buoy their spirits (and your own) and make them feel loved.
But ultimately, you have to hope the doctors have a treatment plan that can fight back, and it’s so hard to see sarcoma keep attacking despite whatever chemo or radiation or meds are thrown at it.
So far, sarcoma doesn’t have a cure. It’s rarity makes it hard to know the best way to fight it. But we don’t have to be helpless. We can support sarcoma patients and their families. And we can decide here and now to support clinical sarcoma research trials to find a path toward a better future for those impacted by sarcoma.
Sarcoma sucks, but it doesn’t have to be that way forever.
My family fights for Jenny, Jeff, and Faye, who all were lost too soon to subtypes of sarcoma. Thousands of other patients and their families are in the fight of their lives too, and we can help create better outcomes for them.
All proceeds and donations in support of Sarcoma Sucks benefits the Move For Jenn Foundation. Together we will fund a targeted sarcoma research trial at Levine Cancer Center. This kind of work is what will one day make the breakthroughs needed to make sarcoma more manageable.
We don’t have to be helpless. We can fight – and we hope you will join us. Be The Light for those who are facing this battle with sarcoma.
