Hi! My name is Ava Mohror, a junior at Ventura High School. For my AP Environmental Science final project, me and my friends Oliver Deleon, Sophia Sletten, and April Boland decided to collect clothing donations from students at VHS and then use those donations in two pop-up clothing sales on June 10 and 11. Each item was under $5, and the purpose of our sale was to promote giving clothes a second life, remedying some of the negative impacts of fast fashion on the environment. Through these sales, we made $250 to donate to the Santa Clara River Conservancy!
