Goal

In the wake of the devastating 7.4 magnitude earthquake and ongoing forest fires affecting several regions of Colombia, many women coffee farmers are facing damage to their homes, farms, and livelihoods, but also profound psychological distress.

To respond to this urgent need, SANA launched SANA Responde, an emergency response program providing psychological first aid to affected women. To mobilize quickly, we postponed the final cohort of our signature 5-month program and redirected those funds to launch SANA Responde, allowing us to provide immediate support to 15 women.

Through SANA Responde, women receive tele-counseling with licensed psychologists, emotional stabilization, and referrals when needed. The program addresses anxiety, insomnia, grief, emotional distress, and PTSD that can emerge after disasters.

We want to reach more women in urgent need and to do this WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!
