Goal

In just three short months, this scrappy group of boys took Salt Lake City youth baseball by surprise. By focusing on team culture, building self-confidence, and always competing against ourselves to work harder and improve our skills, the Salt Lake Stars compiled an 18-2-2 record for the fall 2022 season. For the spring and summer 2023 season, the Stars turn their sights on Cooperstown–the most well-known12U baseball tournament in the country and the place where legends live.

Unlike most competitive baseball teams, the Salt Lake Stars does not charge any fees to be a member of the team. We rely solely on the generous donations of our fans–those of you who give a little extra to help bring excitement and indelible memories to this group of 12-year-old boys.

Our greatest strength is not the speed of our pitchers or the strength of our hitters. Rather, it is the commitment to each other through our core values:

1. Be a goldfish (an animal with a short memory)–we recognize our mistakes, learn from them, and then forget about them and move on.

2. We compete against ourselves. To be better today than what we were yesterday and to be better tomorrow than what we are today.

3. We pick each other up and play as a team knowing that one day you may fall but your teammate will rise and on another day your teammate may fall and you will rise.

4. We play with all of our heart from the first pitch to the last swing. We leave it all out on the field and never give up.

Please consider supporting the Salt Lake Stars. Your donation goes a long way. The actions of today are the memories of tomorrow for these boys.
