About SAGE Studio & Gallery

SAGE Studio & Gallery is a non-profit art space in east Austin that provides artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities with the materials, space, and support to produce, exhibit, and sell their art. It is SAGE Studio's mission to nurture and amplify the voices of artists with disabilities, so that they may meaningfully engage with the social, economic, and creative life of the community.

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month

At SAGE, our goal is support all of our artists in their pursuit of a creative career path. In Texas, less than 9% of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities work in competitive settings, and too often people with disabilities are relegated to low level, isolated positions that don't take into account their individual passions and talents. We want to change this narrative in a profound way but we need you!
