Anything would help us to establish enough funds for at least 10 free moves by the end of the current fiscal year. This means that we will initially try to raise enough to be used for moving materials, packing and unpacking labor, administration costs, and transport services for our participants’ moves.


Each move costs an average of $2000, including the moving truck, fuel, labor and materials.

Are you a local corporation or foundation that wants to make sure that 100% of your charitable contributions go directly to the community your company serves? When Safe Moves for Seniors receives a corporate donation in our area, we make sure that all funds are used locally to help those seniors who are in need of free moving services. Please consider making a monthly commitment to our organization, or a one-time gift! We are a 501(c)(3), listed in the IRS Publication 78. Your employees can get involved in a one-time or monthly volunteer service project with us too - we have all types of levels of volunteering available, from making calls to being on-site to provide hands-on sorting, packing and unpacking during the transition.
