Safe Moves for Seniors - Pittsburgh

Safe Moves for Seniors is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping financially disadvantaged senior citizens move with safety and dignity. Moving costs an average of $2,000, which includes the moving truck, fuel, labor, and materials. With your donations, all of these costs will be reduced to $0 for seniors who qualify for the program. Help our Pittsburgh office raise the funds required for moving materials, packing and unpacking labor, administration costs, and transport services for our participants’ moves.

Are you a local corporation or foundation that wants to make sure that 100% of your charitable contributions go directly to the community your company serves? When Safe Moves for Seniors receives a corporate donation in our area, we make sure that all funds are used locally to help those seniors who are in need of free moving services. Please consider making a monthly commitment to our organization, or a one-time gift! Your employees can get involved in a one-time or monthly volunteer service project with us too - we have all types of levels of volunteering available, from making calls to being on-site to provide hands-on sorting, packing and unpacking during the transition.
