A testamentary gift from the estate of Ruth Wilson established this unrestricted fund. The income will be used to respond to requests submitted by Raleigh County non-profit charitable organizations. Ruth was born in Raleigh County and attended local schools. She graduated from Sullins College and immediately went to work. She retired after 45 years of employment with the managerial department of Appalachian Power Co., now AEP.
