Running Venice Marathon for Ukraine

Hi all! 

My name is Anastasiia. I am Ukrainian, from the city of Zaporizhzhia, and I now live in Wales.

Last year, I proudly completed the Veloforte Wales Marathon and, with your generous support, raised over £800 for Sunflowers Wales to help provide medical supplies for people in Ukraine. I am deeply grateful to everyone who contributed and made that possible.

This year, I am taking on a new challenge — the Wizz Air Venice Marathon in Italy on Sunday, October 26th. Once again, I want to dedicate my run to Ukraine and to all Ukrainians who have to live through war every day but keep their courage and strength.

Running a marathon is always a test of strength and perseverance, but I know that the hardships I face on the course are nothing compared to what my country is enduring. That is why I ask you again to join me in this journey by donating to Sunflowers Wales. Your contributions will go directly towards purchasing and delivering vital medical supplies to hospitals and paramedics in Ukraine.

Together, we can turn every step of this marathon into real help and hope. I truly believe that, united, we are stronger — and together, we will succeed!
