Royce Hiner Memorial Fund

The California Transportation Foundation (CTF) funds its efforts with contributions from donors like you. Only with the generous support of our donors and sponsors for our annual signature events are we able to provide the financial assistance to workers injured on the job and families of workers killed in the line of duty. By supporting the CTF Injured and Fallen Worker Fund you are making a difference in the life of a family when the tragic news comes of an injured or fallen loved one.

Donations to an individual injured or memorial worker fund are not tax deductible.

ABOUT THE ROYCE HINER MEMORIAL FUND

All donations to this account go directly to the Royce Hiner Memorial Fund. Royce Hiner, a Caltrans District 2 Maintenance employee, and a 2021 Medal of Valor recipient passed away on September 10, 2025. Over the past year, Mr. Hiner and his family have faced immense challenges, both emotionally and financially due to on-going medical issues. Now, with his passing, the need for support is even greater. Royce leaves behind a spouse

and three young children.

CTF is not matching donations since his death was not work related.

Donations to an individual injured or fallen worker fund are not tax deductible.
