Rosina arrived at our home in the summer of 2025. Because of circumstances rooted in deep spiritual brokenness, she as left in a very vulnerable situation. In her grandmother’s effort to protect and save her, she brought Rosina to us. Much of her first two years of life remains unknown, but the effects of trauma she has endured are evident. Adjusting to her new surroundings has been challenging for her—as it would be for any young child suddenly placed in a new home.

Thankfully, she is surrounded by children and caregivers who are showering her with love, patience, and acceptance. We are already seeing little glimpses of her beginning to trust, and we know that, with time, she will continue to blossom.

Rosina is a quiet and observant little girl who lights up for simple joys—especially milk and candy. Though timid around new people, she responds well to gentle care and lots of TLC. She is very much a “girly girl,” always drawn to sparkly dresses and anything pretty. We look forward to watching her personality shine through more and more each day, as she discovers the joy of being safe, loved, and truly at home.
