My name is Faiz, and I am currently raising £5,000 to support Roots Academy, an incredible initiative dedicated to strengthening the faith and Islamic knowledge of university students across the UK. For many students, uni is a defining stage in life, a time when beliefs are tested, and identities are shaped. I believe that all Muslims deserve access to a strong Islamic foundation that nurtures their Iman and deepens their connection with Allah. To me, this is what Roots Academy provides.

Allah says in the Qur'an: "Do you not see how Allah compares a good word to a good tree? Its root is firm and its branches reach the sky." 
(Surah Ibrahim 14:24)
