Rising Kites

We were first introduced to Rising Kites when Artem was born. Having an organization welcome our family and congratulating us on this new journey was appreciated more than I could even say. To have a fellow Mom make it her mission to lend that hug to new families through her loved filled gift bags, whether they were first receiving a diagnosis, or had already given birth to their extra lucky baby, was so heart warming. 

Rising Kites has a special place in our lives and their mission is one I am so honored to support. They have made it their goal to reach new families to share with them the joy ahead in this Down syndrome journey through resources, community and support. They are striving to become apart of the diagnosis process in healthcare facilities, and have already been introduced to many in different states so that our families can be introduced that much earlier to a community of families ready to celebrate them!

Currently they have opened up a future coffee shop that will employ our loved ones with different abilities and open up a place where our lucky few community can connect and thrive together. (If you are located in Michigan be sure to check it out!)
