Rising Kites

When we first got the diagnosis of our sweet little girl, we were scared of all the unknown. The doctors and google gave us only the negative, and it was the furthest from the truth. She is perfect in every single way! From her button nose, to her perfect little toes and sweet little crease in her hand. God gifted us the most perfect little babe, and we are so lucky to love and be loved by her. We found rising kites on instagram and they sent us the a bag filled with lots of helpful positive information! It was so incredible to see other families love on their perfect little babies, who also had an extra chromosome. There will be challenges, and it's so important to have a community that has been through them to support you and give you the real life advice. Our sweet miracle girl is growing and kicking down all the barriers. She works extra hard to reach each milestone and we are so proud of her! She loves her sisters so much, and they adore her! She is truly a gift and our dream come true! 

I hope future parents know that their new babies are truly, a gift. That their hugs are healing. That this little life is the best one, filled with sunshine and joy and that there is absolutely nothing to be afraid of. That their baby will work extra hard to reach those milestones, and that everything will be ok.
